Error upon installation of sportsline, can't get past it

Here is the error that appears directly after uploading/installing the sportsline theme… Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/indoor/public_html/wp-content/themes/sportsline/functions.php on line 309 How do I fix this?

Please crate a phpinfo.php file and add following code into it 
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
Now upload the file in your server and point the file from your broswer. From there you can see the php version.
